Tired of the argument "AI can only repeat what it learnt from"

What do you all think of the silly argument that people always make?

I guess these anti-AI people always shift the goalposts as AI keeps getting better.

1. "AI is a glorified Google search engine."

2. "AI can only repeat from its data and cannot make new ideas; only humans can."
